Attias Eric

Mr. Attias is the CIO of Nexar Capital Group, founded in April 2009. Previously, Mr. Attias was the CEO of SG Asset Management Inc., New York, Head of and Portfolio Manager for SG Asset Management’s Alternative Investments Fund of Hedge Funds program (flagship: SGAM Premium Fund ), as well as the CIO of the SGAM’s internal Multi-Strategy program. Mr. Attias was also the CEO and Portfolio Manager of SGAM Edge (flagship: Starway fund), a large hedge fund seeding platform. Prior to joining SG Asset Management Inc. in 2002, Mr. Attias was a Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Mr. Attias joined Dresdner in 1997 as Head of Emerging Markets Derivatives, then set-up the business and managed Dresdner’s New Business Group (Alternative Investments) in New York. Before Dresdner, Mr. Attias was with Société Générale as a Senior Derivatives Trader. Mr. Attias holds Masters Degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics from various renowned schools and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
