Italian government includes EU taxonomy mitigation criteria in green bond framework

The Italian government has issued its inaugural green bond; issue size EUR 8.5 billion. Italy made efforts to align its green bond categories to the EU Taxonomy in terms of mitigation objective criteria. NN IP believes this is an important milestone for the green bond market as Italy has a high weighting in government bond indices and portfolios.
