Lyxor appoints Matthieu Mouly as CEO of Lyxor UK

Lyxor Asset Management (“Lyxor”) announces the appointment of Matthieu Mouly as CEO of Lyxor UK, Lyxor group’s entity in the UK. This appointment, effective as of August 22, is still subject to regulatory approval.

Based in London, Matthieu Mouly reports to Lionel Paquin, CEO of Lyxor, and locally to Ian Fisher, Societe Generale Group Country Head for the UK. Matthieu Mouly replaces Pierre Gil, who will take on a new role within the Societe Generale group.

He combines his new role with his current position as Global Head of ETF sales and will continue to work in close cooperation with Arnaud Llinas, Head of Lyxor ETF and Indexing, in this capacity.

As CEO of Lyxor UK, Matthieu’s primary focus will be to ensure that Lyxor’s broad range of expertise are deployed in the most efficient manner across the UK market, as well as to boost Lyxor’s commercial development both in the UK and the Nordics region.

Biography:

Matthieu Mouly started his career in 2000 as a Project Manager in a French start-up developing software solutions for digital television. In 2004, Matthieu joined Natixis Securities as a sell-side equity analyst, covering the media sector. In 2008, he joined Societe Generale’s Corporate & Investment Banking division in the ETF sales team, where he developed the ETF Business in France. In 2010, he became Head of ETF sales in French speaking countries at Lyxor, before being appointed Global Head of ETF sales in 2014. Matthieu Mouly holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from Dauphine University and a Master’s degree in media management from Pantheon-Sorbonne University, Paris 1.
