Green Bond

Credit Suisse today announces the successful inaugural issuance under its green finance framework, raising USD 200 million in proceeds in the form of green Yankee Certificates of Deposit (“YCD”).

On 13 June 2019, RATP once again successfully issued “Green Bonds”, in the amount of €500 million, with a ten-year maturity date. The exceptionally successful transaction, which has a substantial subscription rate (>5 times), is fully in line with RATP Group’s CSR effort and demonstrates the Group’s determination to meet the challenges regarding the ecological transition and climate change.

The Netherlands has issued a green bond at 20 years. This is the first green bond rated AAA in the world. Demand for this issue has reached 21 billion euros.

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has signed a string of agreements with major stock exchanges and institutions in China, strengthening its appeal as the world’s leading green bond trading hub.

Cloud computing, machine learning and the potential of the, as yet, relatively untapped field of data science have been rapidly rising up the agenda of the investment world.
