ING Group will, as of today, be included in the EURO STOXX® Banks Index, with a weighting of 3.83%, and in the STOXX® Europe 600 Banks Index, with a weighting of 7.60%.

ING announced that it has today agreed to sell shares of common stock of Voya Financial, Inc. in an underwritten public offering.

Eli Leenaars, member of the Management Board Banking and Head of Challengers & Growth Countries will leave ING. Eli Leenaars will step down from his position as of 1 October 2014 by mutual agreement. Any announcements on succession will be made if and when appropriate.

ING has sold its remaining 10% stake in SulAmérica S.A. through a block trade on the BM&F BOVESPA stock exchange. This announcement is in line with ING’s stated objective to divest its insurance and investment management businesses and focus on banking.
