ING announced today it will exchange the second tranche of EUR 337.5 million of mandatory exchangeable subordinated notes into 13.6 million NN Group ordinary shares.

ING Group intends to issue securities that qualify as Additional Tier 1 capital under CRD IV / CRR. The intended issuance is expected to further strengthen ING’s capital base.

ING announced today it agreed to sell shares of common stock of Voya Financial, Inc. in an underwritten public offering. In addition, ING Group has entered into a share repurchase agreement with Voya under which Voya will repurchase USD 600 million of its shares of common stock from ING Group.

ING Vysya Bank (Vysya) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak) today announced their intention to merge their respective businesses. The combination of their businesses will lead to a strengthened position as one of India’s leading privately held banks, with a wider geographical spread and enhanced expertise across customer segments and product categories.
